Setelah Nabi Isa a.s berdoa maka beliau pun berlalu dari situ.

1. Mereka cinta kepada dunia. Tetapi mereka lupa kepada akhirat.

2. Mereka cinta kepada harta benda. Tetapi mereka lupa kepada hisab.

3. Mereka cinta kepada makhluk. Tetapi mereka lupa kepada al-Khaliq.

4. Mereka cinta kepada dosa. Tetapi mereka lupa untuk bertaubat.

5. Mereka cinta kepada gedung-gedung mewah. Tetapi mereka lupa kepada kubur."

SHOLAWAT WAHIDIYAH

USEFUL for the PURIFICATION of the HEART and MA’RIFAT BILLAH wa ROSUULIHI S.A.W.

Sholawat Wahidiyah can be recited by anyone, male or female, young or old, irrespective of any sects or tribes or of any nationality, without any exception.

FAFIRUU ILALLOOH!!! (RUN TOWARDS ALLOH)

METHOD OF RECITATION

1. The heart must be filled with pure intention to sincerely worship ALLAH, without contamination of any other intentions but to glorify and love ALLOH and his Messenger, Muhammad S.A.W. [Sholallahu Alaihi Wasalam = God (ALLAH) Bless and Peace to Him]. Imagine and feel truly in front of His very presence (ISTIHDLOR = hence feel inside the heart we prostrate ourselves before Him) with our best conduct and purest glorification and sincerest love.

2. To be recited for 40 consecutive days, each sentence / paragraph in the stated number of times, in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening or at night.

It can also be recited for 7 continuous days without interruption but 10 times the stated numbers.

After achieving one of these two recitation methods, for the subsequent days recitation can be made by decreasing or increasing the number or if desired, even refraining from reading some sentences or paragraphs of the Sholawat.  However it is very much encouraged to increase the number.  It is also advisable to recite with more repetitions of any chosen sentences or paragraphs according to one’s heart at any particular moment.

Sholawat Wahidyah can be recited individually, however it is strongly recommended to recite in congregation, together with the members of the family or of the local community.

Women going through menstruation are advised just to recite the Sholawat, refraining from recitation of those Al-Quran verses of Al-Fatihah. However the recitation of Fafiruu … etc. and Waqul … etc. can still be done because these are meant as a supplication to God.

3. For those who are still unable to recite the full text, one is allowed to recite sentences / paragraphs that are already known. For instance the opening verse of the Qur’an (Al-Fatihah) or simply recite exclamation phrases, just “YAA SAYYIDII YA RASUULALLOOH” repeated (as this will also be sufficient) for about the same time as the recitation of the Sholawat in full, i.e. about 30 minutes. If this is still felt as to be not possible, just stay put for about 30 minutes and during that time concentrate the heart, putting the mind as much as possible at rest, and focusing all attention to nothing but merely ALLOH (the only One Being in existence). Glorify love in its sincere sense and feel that we are now right in presence of the Great Prophet Muhammad (Shollalloohu ‘alaihi wasallam).

BASIC SHOLAWAT WAHIDIYAH LECTURE

Besides the aforementioned recitation, the Sholawat Wahidiyah member is taught to train his/her lecture with LILLAH – BILLAH as well LIRROSUL –BIRROSUL and endeavor to commit himself in YUKTII KULLADZII HAQQIN HAQQOH following the principle of TAQDIIMUL ALLAM FAL AHAM TSUMMAL ANFA’FALANFA’

LILLAH: every deed or action, whether compulsory by the community like circumcision or directly connected to community or to ALLOH the TRUE GOD, must be based upon the intention of dedicating oneself in praising upon and only the One True God and no more! LILLAHI TA’ALLAALA (it really applies to God’s service) and LAA ILAAHA ALLALLOH (no God but ALLOH)!!!

BILLAH: be fully conscious anywhere and anytime and feel within the heart that absolutely everything, including whatever one is doing outwardly and inwardly, is nothing but creation and action by ALLOH. One should never feel or even claim to have the strength and power LAA HAULA WALA QUWWATA ILLA BILLAH (no power but the power given by ALLOH)!!! This is because in fact only ALLOH’s Strength and Power are reality.

LIRROSUL: besides the pure intention to worship ALLOH as stated above, in all deeds and whatever action from us, as long as it is not an act disliked by ALLOH, for he cannot be duped, the intention in the heart must also be made to follow the guidance from the Prophet Muhammad Shollalloohu ‘alaihi wasallam “YAA AYYUHALLADZIINA AAMANUU ATHII’ULLOHA WA ATHII’URROSUULA WA LAA TUBTILUU ‘MAALAKUM” [believers (BILLAH) obey ALLOH (LILLAH) and be obedient to the Messenger (LIRROSUL) and render not your actions vain]. QV 47:33

BIRROSUL: besides BILLAH as mentioned above, we should realize that every deed that is tolerated by ALLOH becomes manifest only by grace of the Holy Prophet Mohammad Shollalloohu ‘alaaihi wasallam “WAMAA ARSALNAAKA ILLA ROHMATAN LIL’ALAMIEN” [I never send you, Mohammad, rather than as mercy to the whole universe]. QV 21:107

LILLAH – BILLAH and LIRROSUL – BIRROSUL are the realization of dzauqiyah of two confessions:

ASYHADU AN LAA ILAAHA ILLALLOOH WA ASYHADU ANNA MUHAMMADAR ROSUULULLOH Shollalloohu ‘alaihi wasallam

YUKTI KULLAA DZII HAQQIN HAQQOH:

To cover and fulfill in all its aspects, one’s responsibility. To carry out the responsibility without a claim to what he is due (one’s right). Be it responsibility towards ALLOH and HIS Messenger or any responsibility in relation to the public society and to the whole creation in general.

TAQDIIMUL AHAM FAL AHAM TSUMMAL-ANFA’U FAL ANFA’:

In carrying out responsibility, priority must be given to what is considered to be more important (AHAMMU). In the event that there are two or more things of similar importance, choice must be given to that having higher merit (ANFA’). Those acts having to do with ALLOH and HIS Messenger, especially those categorized as compulsory, are generally taken as important (AHAMMU). Whilst those having been considered to be worth for or meriting other people, the community, the public in general or the public society, have to be regarded in general as more worthwhile (ANFA’U).

PRACTISING OF SHOLAWAT WAHIDIYAH

1. Let us concentrate our attention towards ALLOH the Glorified and the Exalted, The only One God and feel as if we are really in front of our Great Prophet Muhammad S.A.W., in good conduct and glorify and love Him in the purest meaning.

2. Exclusive intention to worship ALLOH sincerely, purely, without any contamination by any other intention, with no expectation of any rewards whatsoever (LILLAH), only aiming at following the path of MOHAMMAD S.A.W. (LIRROSUL).

3. Let us be conscious that we are able to do all those things merely relying on the strength and power of ALLOH (BILLAH) and with the help or good service from Muhammad S.A.W. (BIRROSUL).

4. Let us honestly confess that we are very sinful, indulged in lots of wrong doings, be it to ALLOH the Glorified and the Exalted, also to Muhammad S.A.W., to our parents and children, the people around , the public community, all creations in general, so we very badly need forgiveness, kindness and guidance from ALLOH the Glorified and the Exalted. We also need help, teaching and guardianship from Mohammad S.A.W., also blessing, glorification, esoteric, insight and endowment from the Great Master of this era (Ghautsu Hadzaz Zaman) and his companions and all the other Beloved Saints of ALLOH (May ALLOH the Exalted bestow HIS mercy upon them and be well pleased with them all).

5. The whole citation is to be presented as e reverence to our holy Prophet Muhammad S.A.W., the Great Master of this era (Ghautsu Hadzaz Zaman) and so forth (and if so desired, just aim through our inner feeling to whatever being wished to be shared with, e.g. Parents etc….).

ISTIGHROQ: this means quiet, nothing to recite. All attention is focused only to ALLOH. All five senses of the human organism like hearing, seeing, etc. even thought as well as feeling are all to be concentrated only to ALLOH, the get oneself (consciously in the heart, not in the mind immersed in the ocean of Oneness of ALLOH (Tauhid), as if there is nothing else (including ourselves) in the whole existence. At last only ALLOH, period1 Once one feels sufficient (normally in terms of seconds or minutes) Istighroq can be stopped and one can continue with the ne recitation.

“FAFIRRU ILALLOOH’ means run back to ALLOH, the True God

“WAQUL JAALHAQQU…” menas hope that our damaged and damaging moral in cludsing that of society and specially our own, will soon be rehabilitated to be a good and fruitful one by ALLOH. In case one omes out as unable to do so, one is better immediately destroyed by ALLOH.
